As part of the Hurricane Sandy relief effort headed by FEMA and the city of New York, prefabricated comfort stations were transported via perimeter frame trailers from Berwick, PA to the Port of Newark, NJ. Upon arrival in Newark, the loads were lifted onto a geared barge and transported to various beach sites where they were re-loaded onto hydraulic platform trailers for final delivery.
